Product description The Epoch | 4K Neutron & Assimilate SCRATCH Bundle from Bluefish444 is an I/O PCIe card and DI software package for handling real-time 4K/UHD footage up to 30 fps. The bundle pairs Bluefish444's Epoch | 4K Neutron bi-directional with and a permanent license for Assimilate SCRATCH that includes the first year of updates and support. The software is a digital download and is available in Windows or Mac versions. The Epoch | 4K Neutron is a half-length PCIe card that allows for easy integration with rack mounts, smaller form computers, and portable PCIe or Thunderbolt enclosures. It has a full-height shield and connectivity for AES/EBU digital audio, analog audio, and RS-422 control, which are all available via an included breakout cable.
Featuring three BNC connectors, the Epoch | 4K Neutron supports single-link or dual-link 3G-SDI signals to support DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) and Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) input or output at up to 30 fps. For cost-effective monitoring, the card also features an HDMI output that supports up to DCI 4K at 24 fps and UHD up to 30 fps. Like other Bluefish444 cards, Neutron cards use a 12-bit processing pipeline to maintain the full quality of your source material. Additional features such as 4 x 1D x 12-bit LUTs on all of the SDI outputs, a low-latency hardware video keyer, and compatibility with industry standard Bluefish444 and 3rd party software – such as the included Assimilate SCRATCH – make the Epoch | 4K Neutron ideal for a variety of applications and workflows, including editing, color correction, video streaming, production, mobile production, digital intermediate, and image quality control.
SCRATCH is a comprehensive DI software that helps you take control of your digital workflow, bringing together real-time data management, dailies playback and review, conform, editing, color grading, titling, 3D compositing, and finishing into a single, consistent user interface. SCRATCH also integrates via XML with other tools in your workflow. SCRATCH offers real-time full-resolution support and native playback of all popular camera formats, including stereoscopic 3D workflows, and is fully ACES compliant. - The Bluefish444 Advantage
The Epoch | 4K Neutron from Bluefish444 is a bi-directional I/O PCIe card for capturing or playback applications that require 4K/UHD SDI signals, multi-channel 3G/HD/SD SDI signals, and 4K/UHD HDMI monitoring. At half the length of a full-size PCIe card, the Epoch | 4K Neutron takes the functionality of a larger card and packs it into a form factor that allows for easy integration with rack mounts, smaller form computers, and portable PCIe or Thunderbolt enclosures.
This model comes with a full-height shield with connectivity for AES/EBU digital audio, analog audio, RS-422 control, and an auxiliary genlock BNC, which are all available via an included breakout cable. An alternative model is separately available that replaces the extra audio support for an extra, built-in genlock BNC connector. Additionally, an "LP" model is available separately that forgoes audio connectivity or the extra genlock connector for a low-profile shield that increases compatibility with compact expansion chassis.
Featuring three BNC connectors, the Epoch | 4K Neutron supports single-link or dual-link 3G-SDI signals to support DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) and Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) input or output at up to 30 fps.
